The Encore Lounge

This was initially one of three virtual sets used for producing a dating show, and I was able to tweak it into a more general purpose virtual space that still supports virtual film production.

I designed the space, atlased materials, created controls for visual systems, programmed permission behaviors, and performed user acceptance testing for the various projects.

I used the following systems to fulfill the business requirements for this virtual space.

- This virtual space is rigged to make use of the VR Stage Lighting system by AcChosen for controlling visual effects via both internal UI components, as well as external DMX systems. Setup requires

- This virtual space also makes use of an in-house audio simulation system which allows designers to adjust audio perception in accordance to required business logic or to simulate the acoustic properties of a space, i.e. aggressive falloff when hearing someone from the other side of a window.

- Lastly, this virtual space also uses an in-house solution that buttons to be intuitively operated via hand motions while also being synced across all clients, as would be required for recording videos.
